I am SO EXCITED!!! Aspen, CO, my absolute favorite town in the world made it as #1 on Travel and Leisure’s Favorite American Towns list!!!! If any of you have ever been here, you’ll know what I mean. There’s things to do year-round. The snow that they receive blankets the Switzerland-like town to make it look like something of a movie, especially with twinkling lights everywhere. Even if you don’t ski, you can sled, snowshoe, ice-skate, shop, or relax in one of the many spas or cafes. The summertime offers hiking, biking, water-skiing, and rafting and each season comes complete with mind-blowing scenery that will make you feel like you’re living in a painting. I can’t say enough about this town (if you haven’t seen from my many posts.) The authentic Western mining town is full of cowboy boots, leather and suedes, while it also has an elegantly rustic feel with high-end luxury shops like Prada and Fendi. Where else can you buy cowboy boots and designer dresses all in one place? The people are incredibly nice, and so relaxed. The town has been voted number one in the singles night-life scene, yet the activities, hotels, and restaurants throughout the town are good for families and people of any age. I hope you’re all booking your trips immediately, and let me know what you think about the rest of the towns on this list!
