Jeer of the Week: Snowstorms and Traveling

As you all are aware, this week’s winter snowstorm hit us fast and hard. From tornados to blizzards and freezing rain, it seems that almost the entire US was affected in one way or another by this snowpocalypse. I was watching the news yesterday and saw that thousands flights were cancelled or delayed from the massive storm, and I kept receiving email updates on my typical driving route from White Plains to Upstate NY, on all of the delays and accidents the storm had caused. You can’t predict snowstorms when booking flights, but you can, however, stop yourself from getting in a car and driving during one of these dangerously fatal storms. If I were you, I’d listen to those travel advisories! We here in Upstate NY received 13 inches of snow in the span of four hours! These storms cause poor visibility, slippery roads, and drifting snow, all of which can lead to fatalities. Alright, enough with my travel PSA. On a happier note, I found 12 awesome photos of this week’s snowstorm from  Hope you all enjoy them, and are safe in your homes, enjoying the peacefulness the snowfall brings, and curling up with a good book and some hot chocolate 🙂 Here’s the view from my parent’s driveway in Upstate, NY!
